Na… PHPBB is very developer friendly. Just get rid of the banner at the top, so it doesn’t look like you just installed it.

Yes, but it isn't user firendly and it is lacking many features Invision has. It also has some serious security flaws.

You've said the same thing about wBB , yet you're the only one who came up with that thing, it hasn't even been posted in the bug report forum...I take it has you're paid to say that Wink.

I suck cock and love it... absolutely love it. And I just got banned for being too immature to be allowed to post here.

PHPBB is more flexible. Its free and very customizable.

Which is true also, in WBB, it was the developers fault for not fixing the issues sooner. But PHPBB is open source so there are many other ways to hack it since you can find clearly commented security flaws in the CVS source.

There is a free version you know.

Okay yes, $200 dollars is a bit expensive. But if you re-new year by year, it starts costing a lot more for over 3 years.

There arent two different "versions". You can buy extra tings like support etc.

However, there are many third party IPB sites that provide support.

PHPBB is what the majority of forums I visit use, and I find them all user friendly and easy to use. I actually find Invison Power Board less user frienly than PHPBB seeing as all you have to do in PHPBB is go to profile to edit your sigg, avatar, personal information ETC but in IPB you have to go to My controls, then to either avatar, signature, or personal information SEPERATLY to edit all three. I find IPB a big pain in the ass. Also there are many cool PHPBB hacks (add on's) you can install to further customize the forums such as the disable signatures, or avatars thing, or the ignore user button. Besides PHPBB is free but you have to pay for IPB.
