I was wondering if there was any way to play C&C and RA in a higher resolution than 640x480.

Just gets real scrunched on my screen

Somehow I doubt he's asking for a Linux version of Command & Conquer.

It is possible it's just a problem with your computer, ie: missing a driver or dll. Does it give an error when you try to get it to work?

I could be wrong, I'm running XP so I'll give it a try tonight.

Umm so the only way to play high res cnc is to use that?

Edit: Well I tried and I cant figure out how to install the damn thing. Is there some way to ONLY remove the resolution changer or what. This is mainly for redalert because I play it online and becomes annoying when I cant judge distances correctly

It works with the mix files in place. It's a port of the game, the whole code is being re-written for multiple platforms.

OT: Does anyone know how to disable automatic file opening? I clicked that box saying "always perform this action with thins file type when downloading" in IE when I downloaded something earlier.

Tools > Folder Options

Click on the File Types tab

Find the file type, click on the Advanced button at the bottom.

Check the "Confirm open after download" and click okay to get out...

Well I cant figure out how to work that link. Is there like a CNC95 download that allows high res? Or that adds skirmish to cnc?
