I know my cable connection sux
But I have been having almost legendary lag issues. My reticule wil be red I will shooting and ZERO damage is done. I mean I will hit a vehicle multiple times. This isn't taking into account frustrations at sniping. Is anyone else having similar problems.
Before everyone jumps in. My FPS is always good. I have plenty on server with enough frames to make that a non-isssue. My ping is good and I am not crowding my connection.
I am on Cable and I know when it is acting up. My ping spikes but when I am describing the aforementioned stuff my ping is steady in the 80 - 120 range.
IS anyone else having these issues?

I normally (since I got 512/256 ADSL) don't have much lag, although when I played RenAlert yesterday on Crimson's server (n00bsrv03) my ping was in the 300 range...I wasn't running anything I don't run normally, and never got that much lag on her servers. I'll check later today to see if the lag is still high, but it's probably a single occurence.

I get that sometimes were the first 3-5 shots I take at a building will do no damage, and then the building starts to take damage. Weird, but not really annoying enough to cause me to rip my hair out.

If you are using your cable connection at peak times, then it is bound to perform worse when there are more people in a server.
