I'm glad any of my relatives weren't victims in the bombing, and I wasn't at that trial, because I'd have an overwhelming urge to run over to him and kick him shitless.

They need to make public beatings a death penalty there.

"Cruel" and "Unusual" punishment should be allowed for people like this guy. I think he should be kept alive as long as possible and be toured for the rest of his life.

Almost kill him then bring him back with all our medical advances, then do it again and again, I say.

Ah, we make ourselves no better than these retards if we use punishments like death by stoning. wouldn't it be theraputic for the familys of the victims to just beat the $hit out of him until his puny little body drowns in it's own blood and juices? I smell a hit reality tv show here.. just kidding but we truly live in fu(kd up times. Now what about the zillion other extremists in this part of the world that would love to see the American infidels and Jews wiped off the face of the earth. The funny thing is that every time these winners decide to go blow some $hit up they end up killing a lot of locals in the process that are just trying to get by and make a living from the tourist economy. They must be infidels as well or something like that. Can't these sorry excuses for living matter be mutated into a less harmful lifeform? Like say one of those diseased pigeons that I almost run over every day with my car because they are such brainless animals.

That man believes that by getting the death penilty, that he's "won".
I'm sorry, but making it excrusiating won't make him any less happy to die, no matter what his crime.

Capital punishment is wrong. Murder is the same any way you try to justify it.

There's more punishment in putting a serial killer in solitary confinement for the rest of his life than freeing him through execution.

The victim(s) and or the victims family should be able to choose the guy's fate...

(Like, to be able to choose the slowest, most tortuous, and most painful death possible.)

THat would be solitary confinement; not the poking and tearing of torturing. I betcha that it'd hurt mentally ALOT more to have 3 or 4 years of solidary than to just get shocked and a free ticket out of jail and into pergatory.

I believe in an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth...so he should die. But it seems that he would like that, and because of that...I think that the cruel and unusual punishment should be an option...poll the victims' family & friends. If they vote to torture him...don't kill him but keep him alive. Have like 2-3 hours a day of torture...if he gets too sickly...give him time to heal...then continue the torture. It's mean...but hey...he didn't want to die. Continue this until he goes looney...then throw him into a mental hospital. I can see that many think that this is a grotesque way of going about this...and some of you agree completely with me.

If you don't like that idea but believe in that idea of eye for eye, tooth for tooth...think of it this way:

Maybe the true victims are not the deceased but their families and friends. Their pain continues...and the guy does not feel any remorse...so in order to make him feel pain...physical harm is done. Maybe the idea of continuous torture until mental illness it too much...maybe the torture could stop when the true victims stop feeling pain...but then again...does the pain really ever stop?

Since that's the case, he should be kept alive and become someone's Wife in an 8x8 cell :yell:
