Hey all....My gsa name is Cpax...and I just registered on The Official Renegade Forums Very Happy I've been playing renegade for about 2 years now and I've visited this forum a few times but never really got involved Sad I was looking at it today and I just want to say the people who created this forum have done an excellent job! The link to the renegade forums should be posted more often in the lobby...there are a lot of players who would like to have a say in the community! I've been away for a month and I've missed a lot....what is going on with RenGuard?Could someone plz explain this to me... Laughing This really isnt my buisness but I was reading the posts between Crimson and Fl00d...from what both of you say you want the Renegade Community too come together....by argueing aren't you 2 tearing the Renegade Community up? Sad Not saying that as an insult, but the real truth is cheating is half the reason Renegade is "dying"(Some agree that Renegade is dying, some don't). The other half is the fighting! Well thats just a topic to bring up another day:D I just want to say that the cheating has increased dramatically when I came back...but I've noticed ever since the Anti Cheats came out the amount of cheaters in games have dropped....Just want to say has anyone every visited WOL lately?Whoa!Loads of cheaters! Evil or Very Mad

I've not encountered any obvious cheaters there for a while, i just try sticking to moderated servers or even better, ones where i can moderate.

Yea, I've noticed a big drop in cheaters from when those cheats had just came out, seems most of them've been banned from the big servers now who thankfully are sharing banlists. I really haven't seen any but 1 cheater using Final Renegade in the past week or so.

I'm still enjoying this game & all people do when they say it's dying, is injecting negativity into the community for those who read it, and voicing their opinion which while I respect someone telling it like it is, should probably keep these opinions to themselves, and if they think this community is dying they can just get the hell up & leave without fuss.

I go way off topic... welcome to the forums Cpax. :xmas:

Only the phase one beta testers, like myself, will have played for two years on 3 December of 2003.

P.S. If you encounter any cheaters in any server, make sure to take a screenshot of him cheating and send it in a private message to Crimson or one of the Server Owners. This can ensure that we can get rid of more cheaters.

To get a custom avatar you have to get on IRC (irc.n00bstories.com #n00bstories) with Crimson and send her your custom avatar...
