I tried this out the other day, and have become hooked.
It adds a new dynamic to the game, that really adds fun to a game that as of late has become repetitious. I especially like the maps with base defences. Talk about difficult to destroy, but worth the payoff if you can.
Once the defenses fall, havoc ensues, and the battles get desperate. They have a no beacon rule, that also forces the participants to think harder than just the standard stealth trooper beacon run that seems so prevalent.
I find that it forces the players to work together more than they normally do on standard rambo type games, and the tactics have become more focused. I hate to say it, but Duke had something here with his infantry only thing.
Give it a shot folks. It's fun.
