Recruit

1. If the server shutsdown at the endgame screen do you still get your deserved ladder points?
2. Do your kills and deaths affect your rank?
3. If you're losing and theres no chance of redemption isn't it more beneficial to your rank if you'd leave the server?

I am against the teaching of evolution in schools. I am also against widespread literacy and the refrigeration of food.

1) Not sure, I see ppl complain about this so I assume not.
2) The grape vine tells me no. But since the # of kills effects how many points you get in a round about way the answer is yes. But does your K/D ratio itself effect your rank ? No.
3) Only if you've been in the game less than 2 minutes. You'll notice when you join a game right as it ends and your team go spanked you get 0 for the ladder points.

Kills and deaths have no impact on your rank.

As for the shutdown question, it depends. If the server crashes, then no... because the program ceased functioning. Likewise if the connection to WOL is lost... there's no way to send the data, hence it's not sent. If the server admin types "quit", the current game is ended and the ladder points calculated on the current score/winner and sent to WOL.

Theoretically, yes, you're in the game less so if you leave you'd lose a smaller percentage of ladder points. BUT, unless you're a total n00b, it's better to stay and get as many points as you can so you lose less. The better scenario varies depending on your rank in the team and how much time is remaining in the game by the time you realize it's hopeless.
