What a joke..

They can't even explain how it works in a readme...

"-=|AntiCheat 3.0|=-

-Ok well i finally fixed the spray weapons bugs at last and i also found out a way u can still cheta with god mode but have fixed that.Everything seems to be working if you havenoticed any bugs tell me(BlazeDragoon) and i will do what i an to fix it..same goes for any cheating that might sitll be happening in this mod."

I asked how it works on cncammo(since they can't even set up a forum for this so called anti-cheat)

And still no Clear explanation on how the server uses it.

I figured it's just a .pkg full of WW maps and thats all the server runs.

wow...anyone and everyone probably knew that a .pkg run's independtly allready.

I geuss it would be good for non-fan map servers...but almost every server runs atleast 1 fan map

It's not rocket science...

To play on a server running the new 3.0 Anti-Cheat Mod, download AC3, extract the .pkg into your Renegade/Data directory. Now you can join Servers running the AC3 Mod.

The Mod just restores CnC Mode, in effect blocks BH and the object.ddb file..

Server owners, for more information check our site...
http://www.ozclan.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1726

Ya, the readme is limited, however mirror this for download on your own servers, don't be a leach. Teach your ppl.

If you don't like it, don't trust it, or don't care, cry me a river elsewhere, lol. If you find BlazeDragon missed something, please post him.

Let us see your effort... http://www.ozclan.com/forums/images/smiles/hipman.gif

Ya, this is NOT a competition with Renguard, I believe RenGuard will be the PunkBuster for Renegade.

Why do people that know nothing, think they know everything?

Crimson

Well, cncammo "advertised" you guys as "out before RenGuard"... came across to me as an insult but I might be wrong .Smile

I don't think they mean it as an insult (I might be posting there but I didn't post the news), I think they just ment it as a temporary way to use before RenGuard.

If not well.........

It's a race to make the first anti-cheat!!! Blaze and jelly or whoever the heck are in the lead!!!! RUN! RENGUARD'S GOT A OFFICAL BOARD MODERATOR COMING! THIS COULD BE THE END!

Na sry crimson we can't help what these guys post that is how it has been on all the sites that post something. "before renguard" "beat renguard" etc. I have posted a few times saying how that we are not competing with anyone and like i said in a previous post we are glad you are doing this. We are just offering a solution to the current problem until a bigger and better version/program is released. I dunno about all the renguard stuff though cause Yes Iam a member of gamesxposed cant help it I was on there long before renegade and Wu-CEO as im sure you know from reading your posts crimson lol is a dick yet seems to know his stuff so make sure you make your program a real "corker" lol I don't want renguard already done with a week after its released Smile.

But like i said no competition we can't help what these admins post on their sites as i'm sure you know. And we are just offering a temporary solution until Final Renegade 2.0 is released then it will be back to the drawing board. You guys might also want to get in contact with me blaze_jelly_mods@hotmail.com Blaze and I have found some weird shit which can get by some of our shit but not posting here.. though Wu is banned you never know Very Happy

It's not a program. It's a modification.

A standard pkg file being run on a server does the same thing that you tout as being an anti-cheat package.

Spare me the drama, please.

Now the real question here is what do you prefer. Dealing with cheaters, or having the zero bug? Remembering though that the zero bug is supposedly also a problem with final renegade, and will cause suspition if you get it when switching servers that aren't running the .pkg.

New version is coming out to fix some stuff look for it and ACK I have yet to see you produce anything against cheating please hold your comments unless they are of some use to stopping cheats and until you know exactly how these cheats work which you seem not to for some odd reason I do not think you should have much say. There are other ways to cheat in this game besides the files in final renegade ACK but as a supposedly major person in this community you should know that and we just find ways to get around these other things. Razz i'm not here to pick fights but come on Smile

I don't have to "hold my comments" because I don't work on half-assed anti-cheating *.pkg modifications... Sorry, but that doesn't fly with me.

I already know how they work. I've been working with this engine for almost two years. Don't pull this "but i no mre ten u!!!!!1" bullshit with me.

ACK is right.

If you insist on this then Buzzmod is an anti cheat.

It stops cheaters just like yours, But his adds snazzy vehicles. I think ill go with buzzmod

Does buzzmod stop things such as Bullets the size of tanks? Have you ever thought maybe there is more files in this pkg then you think? (and no not spyware for whoever accuses of renguard using spyware I forget who.)

Viva la Resistance!
To be honest I agree with a little bit of everyone.

On one side you have Blaze and Jelly producing an "anticheat" in mod form. Though it does cut down a lot of the major cheats, it is still a mod and has variables that are not the same as the original packages.

On the other you have Renguard which has not produced anything yet.

There is only one true hardcore FACT here: Blaze and Jelly were the first ones to produce SOMETHING that lessens the effect of the cheats. And for that I applaud you.

It may not be the best solution, but it's sure as hell a step that no one else has taken.

I just hope someone produces a quality anticheat soon.

Not true. In such a case: The first anti-cheat would be the first pkg file released. The differance here is that this keeps the game the same (as in.....normal Ren stuff, no new recon bikes, tanks, weapons, etc).

Mods such as Tib Evo, the older Ren Alert public beta, and other pkgs have the same effect (execpt you get new things).

Try to focus people. This is not about egos any more and this is not a contest either. The common goal is still to stop cheating. The fools who criticize the Anti-Cheat Mod team's efforts have, for some reason, lost sight of that very goal. Because of the limitations of the Mod, any Mod, it is common knowledge that is nothing more than a quick fix, where as RenGuard is/will be a long-term solution. The creators of this Mod publicly support RenGuard because of this common goal and, unless there are hidden agendas involved, the support should be reciprocated. Anything else is counter-productive and will further divide what is left the rapidly dieing Renegade community.

Professionalism: Not only a skill set, but a mind set as well.
