FDS server loads up doesn't show up on gamespy renlist. [message #492811]

This is the problem I get.. But I've really never knew how to use IRC and I believe I would have to use it to update the gamespy plugin. However I want to use NightRegulator instead of brenbot. Also my username, password, serial and ports are all correct even when i use xwis wol irc option and still fails to load. is it even possible to use xwis anymore or would i have to use gamespy?

GameSpy was shut down... I don't know how that figures into Renegade, I've been out of the game for a while. But GameSpy itself was shut down a year or two ago. XWIS still exists I presume...

You need to change the master server, zunnie or someone has the new URL.

I have a copy of the last public available version of NR if your'd like it.

I have no idea if it works with the latest scripts though, so it's provided as-is with no support provided.

As mentioned above, GameSpy no longer works, so you will need to use XWIS/WOL.
