anyway to change the nod text color from red to blue or something, hard to see on a wide screen

Try downloading a HUD, I use this one http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=459522&rid=0

After installing the hud look for and edit the following lines in the hud.ini file

NodHouseRed=0
NodHouseGreen=0
NodHouseBlue=255

^ this will change Nod text to blue


HUDs are not blocked by TT scripts/servers. If this fails then I can no longer help.
