Single player crash occurs at the end of level 1 on both my laptop and my pc. I have only tested it in easy and hard difficulty so far, the attached crash dump is from the easy difficulty I did today on my laptop (was getting pictures of the turret bug).

It crashes after you hit continue on this screen, so I guess technically it might be the start of level 2 (just did it on my main computer again, which doesn't have any mods, just stock ren and 4.1) I'll test again on hard. As a note I think it crashes right when it tries to play the movie, so if you have those disabled that might be hiding the issue.

Actually i have the same situation. I never insert my ren disc whenever i play sp. It then also gives me that dialog of continue and cancel. However it doesnt crash, it just continues to the next lvl without playing the movie. However in the mission where you play against mutant rave and the cutscene ends right before you start to fight him. The game just freezes. Dont know if theres a different result with the cd. Havent tried yet.

Cinematics are text file based, my guess is something in the Ravshaw logic got broken as I've herd numerous times that the code behind it is hacky.
Would test but I crash at the start of level one, could delete the movies from my Renegade folder assuming origin doesn't just put them back.
