Update problem (4.1 I guess?) [message #485711]

Recruit

I tried to play Ren a few minutes ago with renlist like usual, and the updater started. It tried to do things (idk, I am not a computer person), then it tried to restart my computer and it froze. I hit the cancel button and i got message #1 (attached).

I quit all the programs the restart menu said it was waiting on, then tried again. I "manually" restarted my pc, and tried to play Renegade again (still renlist, it's the only launcher I have installed- before 4.0 I had Renegade Resurrection). Then I got got message #2 (attached).

Any help is very appreciated. Renegade is the only video game I play, and I really enjoy it.

I have identified the issue and it will be fixed as soon as possible, hopefully in a few hours. I'll post in the release topic when it is fixed. Until then, you can fix the issue by installing the following packages manually if you have not already done so:

The RC2 installer erroneously attempts to install both at the same time, whereas only one simultaneous installation is allowed. That causes one of both installations to fail.
