Okay, this started happening alot after the update but while in Resource Manager a map is being downloaded my Renegade keeps Alt + Tabbing, it doesn't close the game or doesn't crash just alt + tabs and goes to my desktop... It doesn't really alt + tab but it just goes to my desktop.

Does it show anything after it goes back to the desktop? I would expect that it loses focus because something else happens.

Check if internet explorer is in offline mode and if so disable offline more; there are some odd things if it is enabled.

open IE, press alt, open the file menu and make sure the "work offline" menu item is not checked.

Can you try and see what happens if you run Renegade in windowed mode?

Can you try disabling as many background processes as possible and trying again? I still don't think it's a TT issue alone. I don't see any reason why it would show this behavior.

Windows 8 uses IE10, not IE9. Just FYI.

It's not as if anyone with half a brain is ever going to install a tablet OS on their desktop anyway so I don't think there's much point worrying about whether it works on Windows 8 Razz

Yeah, it's way better to stick to legacy like Win32. You might have missed it, but Metro enables you to use WinRT. WinRT will eventually replace Win32.
