there is any to set the RR launcher to start the game via TT launcher? that way it would not lose the autodownloader feature, if not, could someone make a modification for it? if is not too much work of course.

In beta 2 Launcher.exe has been renamed to Game.exe, so you shouldn't have to do anything to run the launcher. To be sure, join a server via the RR launcher, if it doesn't pop up a message about you not running the game via the launcher, it's running the launcher.

I don't use RR but cant you just untick Use RR (or something like that) and it should run game.exe (which is a shortcut to the launcher)

yep i thought the rename thing would make the RR launcher start the game by the TT launcher but for some reason dont work, every time i try to join using RR launcher whit RR off of course, the funy message pop up.

yep i have "use RR" uncheked in order to use TT properlly but that doesnt help at all, i am requesting some feedback whit this because i love the RR interface also some servers doesnt display in renlist and mainlly because i used RR for 3/4 years and i miss it lol, if someone could find a way to make it work properlly whit the TT launcher i am sure more ppl than just me will be grateful.

Do you have a 'launcher.exe' in your Renegade folder?

Yes I know im trying to figure out whether you have beta2 or not. If you dont have launcher.exe and you have set RR to use the game.exe then there is no reason why you are getting that message. You should only get the message if its using game2.exe

exactly, i dont know a shit about code and stuf but it seams that the RR launcher pick the game2.exe instead of the TT launcher, i wish marc were still around Sad

I haven't used RR but can you just tell it what file to run?

sadlly nope, it doesnt have a feature in which you can chose the file to run as renlist has.

Then there isn't much you can do. Renlist and RR will show yo uexactly the same servers as it queries the same server IIRC. There shouldn't be any reason why you can't see certain servers. Don't forget Renlist has separate tabs for WOL and GSA.

thanks for the feedback man, i only use GSA and i could be wrong but i think RR connects by GSA too though some servers like noobstories, atomix and otters dont display in renlist, duno why, i think iranian mentioned ones it was a problem of that servers.
