You see it sounds really good but its these 20 30 40 year old people that like to listen to there 60 70 n 80's music so we cant hear anything new

I don't believe there was ever a "no rap" rule initiated. Just because you don't like rap doesn't mean that all the rap radio stations are going to go away, does it?
Say what you want about rap, but it is by far THE most profitable music genre - it costs the least to produce and outsells nearly everything else, plus, people who are rap fans tend to be more devoted than fans of artists in other genres. Bottom line, rap is here to stay.

Currently in #n00bstories, we're running a Shoutcast server so selected people can be a DJ for the channel.
Currently I'm the one playing music. Metallica right now.
Got about 90 other songs to play, though, ranging from 80s, classic rock, techno, trance, metal, hard rock, soft rock, all that great stuff. No rap, no R&B, no country.

Rap music doesn't introduce lyrics such as the afforementioned - it is a reflection of a culture that already exists in urban America. Just because some people can't identify with it doesn't mean they should bash it. That's no better than bashing Chinese, Jews, or any other culture.

Hey DJ, nice promo man.
And too IceSword7, basically who ever the DJ is, and what he likes, is what he plays at the time he is on air.
Last night i did a 2 hour request one, where i got requests, downloaded the songs, it worked very well.
You just have too find the DJ's who like the same music as you, and will play them.
Or ask nicley, for a couple of tunes.
