Hye there. I have installed Renegade awhile ago now but recently got back my copy of the first decade so installed that without renegade or generals as I alreayd had them installed.
Since then I have not been able to load Xwis, it simply says 'no servers are found at this time' what can I do about this? I heard someone say there is a fix but cant seem to find it. Any help please?
Just to add, I have tried the fix whereby I reinstall only westwood shared internet components off of my renegade disc. It does not seem to change anything, do I need to delete the ones from TFD or something?
Also I cannot open any of the files under c:\ windows system 32\ Drivers\etc\ hosts as it says it 'is not a valid win32 application'
None of this happened before I installed the first decade though so Im assuming that has to be the link.

How comes this has suddenly happened though ive been playing fine for years untill I install the first deacde.. I didnt install renegade or generals with the first decade as I already had them installed. Ive had a WOL ren nick since 2002.
