If I can't 'afford' games, I just wait for a Steam or Direct2Drive sale. It doesn't take long until crazy prices begin to pop up.
But I think I'm going to buy two boxed copies. One for myself. The other one I can stuff down a random chick's throat in an appropriately masculine display of happiness for the King's return.

Most private torrent trackers require you to seed up to a specific ratio, else your account will be deleted. Also, you rely completely on the amount of seeders, while with usenet you download straight from the newsservers (always at maximum speed).
So no, private torrent trackers are not better than usenet.

I'll stick with usenet, it's cheaper. Besides that, I'm not going to spend any money on a game which I will probably not play anymore after completing the campaign.
