Sometimes when I log on Renguard, it disconnect right after and crash my game. Then I see the following message on the renguard log:
"Your attempt to use a lan exploit has been logged and will be reviewed"
I am quite sure it's a bug but I don't know why it happens.
When launch the game some seconds after with Renguard, all is fine.
So why do I get this?
(don't tell me it's because I use a Lan exploit, I don't and I don't even know what it is.)

I'm sure this is in the FAQ, it's a false positive, ignore it.

I am having this issue as well, but have more incite as to what is causing it (don't know how to fix though...)
Ok, so here is what is happening to me:
I installed Win7 x64 & Renegade, Renguard, etc. Upon launching Game.exe (RenGuard) it will launch and connect to the servers just fine, however, is in a crappy 800x600 resolution (I already read the FAQ, so don't get ahead of me). I set WWConfig and Game2.exe to run as administrator and I am able to change my resolution to my preferred wide-screen setting (1366x768). After the resolution change I am able to start Game2.exe (Original EXE) and play with the new resolution offline with no issues. However (here is the kicker), if I launch Game.exe (RenGuard) to connect to a server it instantly boots me saying the LAN-Exploit error.
One additional piece of info, when Game2.exe (Original EXE) is launched it makes me click 'YES' to allow the game to run (since it is running as administrator)... I am thinking the extra operation of having to click to allow the app is causing this issue.
I'm going mess around with more settings, but anyone have any ideas?

Don't use Renguard on Vista or Win7 TBH, the runtime protection service (SVKP) doesn't work so well.

Then show them you're on an OS where Renguard support is dodgy at best.

Then you're lucky. It simply won't run on my copy of Vista x64. As I said, support is "dodgy at best".
