Is this a legally bought copy of C&C Renegade or a copy of it downloaded off the internet? You can't use a pirated copy.

if you try a nickname that is taken it will put you online but show no servers; pick another name because the one you tried is taken and the password you put in for it is incorrect

Tried with a new nick said invalid serial number again ugh I know I was extra careful putting the number in when installing it. So I dont know what's up

Reinstall it and try again. TFD wouldn't let you install the game if you put the incorrect serial number in, but that doesn't mean a problem couldn't have occurred.

Use the launcher to uninstall the game. Then reinstall it again.

The best way to put these codes in, imo, is to say the set out loud, which would be like 4 or 5 characters) and then repeat it again while typing it in.

So if the first set was like HJ49V, then read it out loud and repeat it as you type it in again "H-J-4-9-V." That way you insure you get it right. Then when you finish, just double check the code once though.

Also, I'm not sure but do they put "0"s and "O"s in? What about "I"s and "L"s? Those are the characters you need to look out for because they can get confusing.

The Renegade serial is all numbers, the TFD serial is a mix of numbers and letters though. It sounds like TFD installed fine imo, you could try reinstalling Renegade, I'd try this before reinstalling Renegade though: http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=19368&start=0&rid=2 1525

Yeah I think it has something to do with Xwis and TFD serial code for renegade. Trying that link to validate the number but it says error opening woldat or somethhing

Go ahead and try using your RA2 or YR serial for Renegade, afaik they work just fine with Renegade too. Razz

You should be able to imo, maybe someone else could confirm this though, Tiberian Sun serial would probably work also.

TS
RA2
YR
Renegade Razz

You will still be able to play the other game online Thumbs Up

EDIT: plain TS or also FS??? I just looked at my serial but that is FS and TS in one (TFD Razz ). Maybe seperate TS and FS doesnt work then...
