If CW.cc would win, the money will surely be used to fund their servers? At the moment Spoony carries this cost all on his own.
Can someone remind me how the prize money was going to be rewarded? Was it all for the winner or distributed between numbers 1, 2 and 3?

I'm grateful for Spoony renting those servers for us, but he didn't want to have any part in leading the cw.cc team, and forfeited us against Jelly our first round. I hosted a clanwars server for years and never got a dime, along with countless others. I'm in the process of hosting my own official CW server as well, do I get any money then? Maybe i'm just being greedy though, cuz obviously those servers are an integral part of our league.
Personally I think the prize money should be used as prize money for the cw.cc ladder, or an internal cw.cc tournament like 1v1 rushmaps or something.

so what if he didnt want to lead in this comm war? fact is he hosts like 4 servers right now since there is not really a decent alternative, back when you hosted yours... there were a bunch of alternatives(which u never wanted to use tho) so give that money to spooner... if not for having 4 servers up for us, then give it to him for reviving clanwars(cause without him, you probably wouldn't even have a team to lead, whiskey)

that's totally not what happened. i didn't even know i was considered the captain, seeing as how i didn't sign clanwars up to this (i wasn't around at the time, remember). i wasn't under the impression that my personal opinion of whether clanwars forfeits or not was any more important than, say, hitman's. frankly, i was under the impression TD was the captain. he certainly didn't ask me if i wanted to be the captain; if he had i might have seriously considered doing so. he just decided that i was the captain without asking me. i don't accept that i was the captain at the point at which we "forfeited", and he's already admitted that, and i quote, he "should have known better".

well, all i'll say is this; anybody could have revived the clanwars league like i just did while i was away. i really can barely afford to pay for the clanwars servers (had to take over a year off work to look after somebody, remember) but i do anyway, and if you recall i still said no to the idea of a SLAP-like system which would allow other servers (troop, c4u etc) to host clanwars, because i thought that for the good of the league it'd be better to host them myself. this is in spite of my dire financial situation.
