anyone know how to get an old version of msn messenger to work?

P.S. I have googled it and can't find anything that will work.

1. What exactly is the problem trying to get it to work?

2. Why do you want an old version of MSN to work?

3. Why not Pidgin?

BTW, this is (probably) in the wrong subforum.

Ugh, lemme guess, you tried to update MSN and it decided to be a cock and not install all the way but it didn't fully uninstall the old one and now you can't install the new one because Windows Live says it's on there?

Heck, that happened to me with the newer Windows Live... made me mad Sneaky

I ended up using a lightweight MSN messenger for awhile called PixaMSN.

I use A Patch to get rid of all the useless adverts and other stuff on MSN's interface, you guys should try it if that's what you don't like about it.
