hi,


so i just reinstalled renegade
and downloaded renguard_setup 1.0323

ok so when i start renguard for the first time...i get a message saying if i want to download another patch(patcherv1.2)


after that...renguard shuts down...and starts back up

and then i get this:

it says there's a bad corrupted file in the directory


Does anyone know what do

k in order for me to download that file you need to update to 1.037

i had renguard 1.0232 or something like that

so after the update, when i try to start renegade its says: insert CD
its like trying to play the game without renguard

so i look up the renguard shortcut in C/westwood/data and when i try to start renegade i get an error saying:

Can't find the Accespoint of the procedure:
Detect_bandwidth@@YYY.....

Go to start -> control panel -> add/remove programs -> C&C Renegade -> uninstall

when i try that it says setup exe doesnt work anymore
so removing via control panel does not work

what im gonna do now is:

im gonna remove everything


than use my back-up and put everything back
that whay its back to normal


than ill try to remove it and install it in in the right order

man im tired as fuck

k so managed to install/update renguard succesfully

but now the next problem
i downloaded the cp2 patcher

when i try to start it, it says can't find patch file

Did you get the manual install or are you trying to get the Core Patch through RenGuard? The manual install needs patcher.zip and either CP2.zip or patchall.zip: http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=18892&start=0&rid=3 134

patcher and patch files (..just the files without the folder in which they are after getting unzipped) need to be in the :\westwood\renegade folder.

yes.

i was doing it manually

i have two zips

patcher and
patchall

now..patcher zip contains patcher exe. and patchw32.dll(i already have a file called PATCH32.DLL in my Wwood directory)

the patchall zip only contains patchall.RTP

so i need to replace the existing patch32.dll with this new one and put it in the directory together with patchall.RTP and then run the patcher.exe?
