JBserv BOT unable to open [message #380091]

Ok, i recently had a server up and was using BrenBot.. i hate the fact that BrenBot requires the use of RENGUARD to use !rank..!help and such.. the DISABLE RENGUARD doesnt even work.. just makes it so BrenBor doesnt load... So.. Smile

KEEP IN MIND installing JBServ is using mIRC

Ive Downloaded a fresh FDS and JBserv

when installing JBserv you have to fill out:

Server path: C:\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\Server\
IRC Server: irc.n00bstories.com
Channel: #mychannel (my choice of channel
AdminChannel: #myadmin channel (my choice of admin channel)
Nick pass: (my password i chose)

Server nick: Wildren
Servernick pass: (my password)
Seriel: ######################## (my serial) (same in server.ini)
Everything above should work.. my WOL nick is registerd and works

Then when i click OK i get this message:

* /dll: unable to open 'C:\Westwood\RenegadeFDS\JBServ\DLL\RenFDS.dll' (line 3289, JBServ.ini)

RenFDS.Dll is there...

and in line 3289 of JBServ.ini contains:

n3289=}

Absolutely nothing except for } on line 3289

Any GOOD BOTS for Renegade out there that are easy to setup and DO NOT requier Renguard to play or use commands?

I never had problems disabling all renguard requirements on brenbot, myself. Maybe make a topic about your problems?

You can change EVERY command to require renguard or not.
Some of the commands do require RenGuard by default (the ones you stated above and som others) but you can easily change it in the 'commands.xml' Big Ups
