Again, blindly enforcing rules without proper reasoning is a waste of time and power.

..So rather than cause problems, which, by the way, is what mods are put in place to avoid, do something constructive with your time..

I'm not trying to tell you how to do you're job. If you think you did the right thing, then so be it. Ignore the rest of my post.

But in my personal opinion, in this particular situation, locking the thread caused the problem. There was no problem or issue before the thread was locked, as no one really issued any complaints about the thread. But now that it's locked, threads like this started to be made.

Still in my opinion, I think that keeping the peace requires interpretation of the rules for every situation, not just simply "following them."
