I'm less annoyed by the rickroll than how much effort I had to waste to get to it. I fucking never use IE :[

I just got a link to a picture that's purple but im too drunk to make out the words. Huh

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Looks the same in my IE as it does in chrome. A really pixelated image that says something about "security."

What'd you do to IE to make it not be insecure, then? It's supposed to be just a lame image in GOOD, secure browsers, but in my IE (and as is the intention), it's one of those stupid rickroll pages that moves about the screen.

Have you updated your IE any time recently?

Used IE tab in FF, some text appeared (code?) and then redirected me to a rickroll page.

Every so often, I get this positive feeling that humanity can somehow, possibly attain pure awesomeness, and enlightenment, and that there is light at the end of the road for us all. However, I only need to go to the latest HUD thread at RenForums to remind me of how dumb I was for thinking such stupid things.

I just tried it with a fully updated IE installation and the malformed image redirected me to a rick-roll page. Not bad, but it can't get particularly harmful because I have UAC on Wink

I'm using version 8.0.6001.18241 (Or just Beta 2 of version 8). I think they've already came out with a release candidate for version 8 though.

Edit: Updated my IE to the RC1 version... still no bug.

This is why I've disabled certain Javascript abilities in Firefox.

If you don't want EA to get any credit, destroy their Refinery. Duh.

It doesn't work in firefox, the developers of ie are just mentally retarded. You should have NoScript on all the time though.

No, I just go into the Advanced options in FF for Javascript, and I've unchecked all the options, including the one that allows resizing and moving windows.
