Hello, my name is Mark Skaggs and welcome to Command and Conquer: Renegade! We at EA have been carefully reading these message boards and have decided to make a final patch to the game. Included in this patch will be major bug fixes and 3 new maps. These maps will revolutionize the gaming community as you and I know it. One map, Volcano Flying, will support the new tank supplier feature. Also, there will be several balance issues addressed such as grenades doing more damage but having a shorter range. More to come!

OMGOMG!! I like just posted saying I saw your name at the top of the forums!! I cant believe you guys are finally updating the game! And a new tank supplier feature! That sounds awesome!! If Mark Skaggs is in Rochester, NY, then it would be true... but I know nothing of this... in fact I've heard something else entirely from a pretty reliable source. I'm pretty leery, but if this is really Mark Skaggs, please contact me off-forums to confirm.

I don't think this is a hoax due to the officialness of the post, most people who have hoaxes sound like dumbasses and its obvious, also, ive seen a couple people brought up a possible patch in other forums, but everyone just flamed them

I agree. If this is a hoax, what kind of lamer would do something like this? Do they have nothing better to do?

Just some advice for future happenings in your life. Never base something off of how "official" it sounds. Many proffesional scammers as well as others involved with legal business can make "official" sounding statements that can hide the truth or scam you out of your possessions.
