I just noticed the Renegade Demo comes with the readme file from the beta. The Table of Contents, has the following section:

6. C&C Mode - Known Issues
6.1 C&C Mode - COMING SOON
6.2 Bugs and Workarounds
6.2.1 Game play
6.2.2 Controls
6.2.3 Weapons
6.2.4 Vehicles
6.2.5 Base Defenses
6.2.6 Economy and Scoring

But this section does no exist in the readme itself. 6.2.6 might clear something up about the pointfix drama. I don't know really. Maybe some other things are listed that never really got fixed.

Someone who has access to the beta should consider uploading this file.

Crimson has a copy but she cannot distribute it due to the contract she signed when getting it (like every beta tester). Maybe she has the beta readme.txt though.

I think she should just bloody release it, like EA gives a royal fuck now and anyway, she or someone else could just release it as anom on some torrent website, no one would know who did it.

I think I did a torrent of the beta wayyyy back, by the time I searched for it again, 0 seeds it had died. She's not the only person with a copy, I know other people who have it, but I specifically remember someone uploaded it to somewhere (this was like 2-3 years ago, and it was mentioned here), anyone remember anything like that?
