Cant get core patches working [message #343642]

I just formatted my comp and i cant seem to get renegade working correctly with the core patches.
ive reinstalled about 5 times now.

i install renegade, then patch to 1.037, install renguard, then manually install cp1 then cp2, upon opening renguard it keeps trying to install the cp, goes thru the process. It keeps doing this. if i go ingame, i know that cp2 hasnt installed properly as i dont see BHS.dll options in the options menu.

Can someone please help get this installed in the right way?

I assume something went wrong when you manually installed CP2. Did you use the guide/sticky in renegade client subforum? If not try:

uninstall renguard

Follow this installation guide WITHOUT renguard in number 6 which is a manual CP 1 and CP2 update. http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=24533&start=0&rid=2 0143

Tryout renegade. If it works, install renguard again.
