There is another gaming mode that is quite popular too, it's called 'duelling' usually played on Club Carnage Extreme duelling takes place on the main dance floor.

The rules are dictated by the host (usually) you could have a 1v1 2v2 or all v all aka. a Rumble! or Team Rumble (<-- that gets a bit out of hand sometimes) or special weapon rules, sniper only etc....

A duel is started (if there is 2 players only in the server) by throwing timed C4 in to the center of the dance floor and waiting for it to explode (a bit like a starting pistol). If there are more than 2 players in the server a different player can use remote C4 to start a duel (usually the host).

Players start at opposite ends of the dance floor and must not leave for the duration of the match. there are a few other things you could make rules like only the host uses caps lock on to chat so everyone knows who is calling the shots, and turning FF on so you can have a true all v all

I'm currently putting together a map for this mode that gives the host more control over the arena. It's looking good Smile

lol no aprime i haven't played that in awhile, i did it with some friends when the map was about a month old, it was one of the first maps that had it's own music

What I don't understand about the Cops and Robbers mode, is why would anyone surrender? Why not die fighting? No one can attack your harv or refinery, right? You'll always have credits, and no one can take down your hand/barr, so why save a dying character? why not die in the firefight and come back with another character?
This game mode makes no sense to me. Razz

because, in case you haven't noticed, people that play this game today are pussies. They get in a firefight and go run out in the middle of the tiberium. Several times I've gotten into fights and everyone runs away from me. it's me as a hotty vs a mobius at the fucker runs...shit pisses me off. Then you got these other pussies that instead of fighting, get out of their tank and repair it while it's getting shot and wait for their teammates to bail them out of it.

I do not like France because before the war they were supportive about disarming Saddam, then when the war started they backed out. We saved the Frenches ass in WW2 from Nazi Germany many Americans died fighting for France, including my Grandfather, then when we need some help the run and hid. i just recently got renegade, and i love it.... and today, i just played my frist cops and robbers.... and i do not think i will play another one again, what i got from it was utter crap..... it went ok at first.... then the admin buys a apache... and goes, and i quote, "no one attack the apache, it won't hurt any1" so he brings it over the GDI base, no one attacks it.... then i see him droping people off.... so i say, "wtf?, thats cheap dude, what are you doing? man" and he is like what? i didn't do ANYTHING.... then he shoots a few people on the ground, so i fire back, then he kills me, so i buy a personal ion cannon, and shoot him down, then he kicks me.... it was so gay, was no fun at all, and it was basicly "i'm the admin, you can't kill me, i can kill you, and i do what ever i want... cause i'm shit"
