Recruit

Previously I tried to get renguard to run, but it didn't. I'm not sure what I did, but I uninstalled it, but some of it was still in. Maybe the core patch, but I don't know. It had the fast loading time for maps and the added sound effects (like the beacon count down voice).

I had to clear my HDD, so now I tried putting renguard on again..

I download it, install it, install the core patch, and now when I start the game there is no text on the menus

Alright, I think I did that... That or I deleted everything and put it on.

Renguard works, n00bstories server confirmed it.

Thing is it didn't update core patch. how do I make it update?

And what shortcut would I use to start the game? I have TFD and previously I just created a shortcut to game.exe on

Now all the font in game menues is GIANT. The two font files normaly in the games folder are gone..

Game.exe starts up Renguard and Game2.exe starts up just Renegade, and for your font problem place the attached file(stylemgr.ini) in your Renegade Data directory and if it wants to replace the one that should be there let it.
