So, I was thinking what about changing the main menu background screen to celebrate the many years of Renegade and the new patch?

A official competition could be held by TT that would invite people to make new menu backgrounds and then after a month or so hold a vote to pick the best one? Thumbs Up

They could disagree on many things, but don't see why EA would, if they did, it could easy be removed.

I know like most things, they will not approve the first patch release right away, am sure they ask for something to be changed or edited the first time around. Razz

Look at the Renegade Menu Theme there. Sounds quite a bit different than what's actually in Renegade, no?

Somewhat off topic, I know, but I think there were different menu plans was my point. Wonder what else there woulda been?

No! The button format cannot be changed, I can get into Jelly[mini-aow] with my eyes closed clicking the appropriate pattern of buttons.

Um... are you referring to if_background2.dds if_bk01.dds if_bk02.dds if_bk03.dds if_bk04.dds if_circle01.dds if_circle02.dds if_renlogo.dds if_renlogo1.dds and possibly a few more of the if_*.dds series?

renegade usually has about 600 people,550 in wol and around 50 using other methods of connecting.

I think when this patch is released it could bring some activity back to ren, ren has suffered a lot over hackers, and this does put players off.
