The game is only as limited as your intellect is. As with your case, creating levels for this game will be very limiting for you.

The reason you say the game is not limited, is because you're brain is very limited. Obviously, no other reason. Need I say more? Not really, but for you I will, I want to make every effort I can to make sure you keep up with me.
You must not be familiar with the game BF42, to make such a stupid, arrogant, and just outright wrong statement.

LOL, nice comback/switching of words. If you looked what all ACK and others have done to our "limited engine" you would realise that it is only as limited as you want it to be.

the msg. above ment for ACk can go to you too. I've been building Ren maps for about 2+ years,. I think I know it's limits. then compare that too the BF42 game. they both are good, but to each his own. I like BF better, a lot more realistic. so shoot me.
Let me say it another way. a programmer can go into pretty much any game and modify the code to do or be something different. but is it worth it. It depends. in some cases yes, and in others noway. BF42 starts out with a better, more realistic enduser results. and is not so limited on map size etc... just so many little restrictions. and I'm tired of it and need a break. maybe someday I'll come back to it. but for now. I-D-ose. A-meeg-o

I'll try to explane it so even you can understand it.
looking at it as worlds or stages. since i'ts "released stage". Before it's release it was in a different world. the womb, you could say, like a baby in the womb is in a different world then you are now. See. but then you'll come back and ask me "Quick question... what does "womb" mean?

Renegade released on February 2002.
That are 17 Months. 2 Years have got 24 Months.....
The ModTools released some time later....
How can i change the Sightwidth in Battlecraft42 ????

Both of you (Captkurt and xpontius) amuse me. I brought it up because of a concept called English. In proper English, you don't make up your own words or phrases to explain something (in this case the inability to grasp the mixing of metaphors) . The " from the beginning of it's released world" phrase is just something that was made up on the spot. I will however rescind this comment if you can prove that the majority of the community refers to different "stages" of a game’s development as "worlds". I.e. the programming "world", the testing "world", the release "world".
Better English would have been either "from the beginning of it's release date" or "from the beginning of it's public distribution stage". Even if you had said "released stage", instead of "world" it would have been better.
Captkurt, I thought you had a solid understanding of the English language, using big words like "narcissist". I mean, you’re older and obviously so much more intelligent than I am. I just wasn't sure how to comprehend made up English (once again in this case a botched metaphor) over real English.
By the way... quick question... what does "womb" mean? :rolleyes:

First, he never said anything regarding or in reference to BF42 in his post. What he said was in reference to your comment on your little site about quiting Renegade because it is so limited.

How could you have been creating Renegade maps for over 2 years when Renegade was released in Q1 2002? If you started mapping for Renegade the day it came out you would have only been mapping for around a month or two shy of a year and a half
