Happy - B-day
I turned 19 2 days ago, i'm uncle aswell, my sisters kid is the same day as you ( today!)

When I turned 18 I didn't do anything special. I could do anything I like, but the more you have the more responsibility's you carry. I can handle that pretty well. With that said, being 18 is a nice age, but acting to that age you have yet to prove.

Apparently in my state (Nebraska) you aren't an "adult" until 19. Although I'm not really sure how that carries into when prosecuted for something. All I know is I can't buy lottery tickets, heh.

Lol, but besides things like that, its just another day that just happens to be the day when the imaginary idea of the calender states a year has passed.

Agrees...I have no reagard for dates (unless in a historical/acadmeic context).

I don't care what day I was born and I don't celebrate birthdays because it is just stupid. "Yay I was born on that day 22 years ago!" Big deal who gives a crap.

Enjoy your youth while you have it. You will find as you get older that you are still 18 mentally, but your body ages and life hits you with a ton of bricks that tries to drag you down. Stay young at heart and always try to have fun and be happy. "As far as we know", this is the only chance you have at life, so don't waste it by going emo and whatnot.

I turn 19 on the 21st, and I already don't care. After your 18th birthday most people don't do anything for your birthdays anymore, so enjoy it while it lasts and good luck to you. As it has been said before you are now responsible for your acts.

Birthdays are a nice way of having an excuse to spend time with your friends and family. Unless, of course, you don't have friends, then I can see where it'd be pointless to celebrate birthdays. Must suck.

Other than that, they're only useful for gaining the ability to smoke/drink/drive/vote.

All I did for my 18th was buy cigars.

That is all a matter of personality. I.E. Your personality.

I hate my birthday because everyone I know doesn't leave me alone...

Therefore, in my position, not having friends would be more fun than having friends... >_>

...sucks though cause I'm the kind of person that people seem to like as soon as I say hi to them... T_T
