I'm sure there are other reasons for this. But then again, these sites rely on advertisers, and gaming companies, so it doesn't surprise me at all.

Exactly! Gamespot is my premier site where I check up on games and read up on reviews before making any purchases.

And now it sucks just because a company can't bear to see their game get a poor review?

I mean, The guy is a little harsh on the game, But that's because what he said looks true.

I perfer getting my reviews from G4TV, Xplay is very honest. Sometimes they do make a mistake, as in the NWN case. But they did make a new review covering the toolset side of NWN, but they were right about the offline game. The mistake they made was not looking at the toolset before they made their comments.

This guy did screw up with the tony hawk and zelda scores, and the company shouldn't have fired him, that is a PR nightmare. The compnay sould have twisted the story so it looks like he made is comments on what they wanted, to let th fans think the company is still about them.

I only visited Gamespot for Jeff and Kasavan. They fired Jeff for telling the truth about the game, basically doing his job.

I'm switching to IGN.
