Westwood should have moved to Europe, they would have been safe for a few more years or so here. Eidos and UbiSoft are pretty safe over here and haven't been harrassed by EA yet. Another good company was Bullfrog, I used to play Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2, which were great games but EA closed them down before they had done the 3rd Game.

Yeah BullFrog rocked. I played populous the begining countless times. Too bad they were shut down before making any sort of map pack. My populous CD has a nice big crack in it now too.

Anyway, the first post says "for shits'n'giggles". Not expecting EA to do anything about it, I just want to see how many people we can get to sign.

Ha, that would be a NO.

For another company to make Renegade 2, they would have been given the permission/rights/etc. from EA, thus they wouldn't (or couldn't) be sued.

I think Renegade 2 would be one of the biggest things to hit the PC if westwood was in it. I think Renegade is awesome enough as it is and if they get Renegade 2 out there it should be awesome.
