I want to extract .mp3 or .wav files from a websites flash music player. Are there any apps or plugins out there to do that?

And... for the heck of it... post your FF plugins.

Mine:
No Script
FireFTP
Download Statusbar
Chatzilla
Page Playlist

You can find them here!

I tend to disable plugins I am not currently using to reduce loading times for Firefox.

The best way to get a mp3 is to use internet explorer, just go to your favorite band/music site, listen to the song, then go to your temporary internet folder, sort files by type and loo for mp3, and there it is.

Nope, the best way is to copy the link from the sourcecode.

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

True, but sometimes you can get lucky if the site has the full mp3 for you to play, some sites play them in a flash player so you cant right click and download, but it actually is on your PC if you look in your temp folder

AoBfrost has the right idea. The Merovingian wants to extract the music from something like Frank Klepacki's Flash Jukebox. However, I see nothing in Page Source, Page Info, about:cache, or my Temporary Internet Files indicating that the music file downloaded separately from the .swf file.

My extensions:
VideoDownloader
DownloadHelper
IE Tab

get "clippings", by far the most handy!...and another plugin I like is.."InfoLister" (perfect for posting lists)

Extensions (enabled: 38, disabled: 1; total: 39)

I use my "CacheViewer" to look thru recent .mp3's form flash sites... this is manual, and can allwo you to save any file from the cache, since Firefox encrypts or renames the cache files in the profile folder

I just re-did my extensions today. I don't use FF for daily browsing (I prefer Opera) but I do use it for development:

ReloadEvery
Firebug
Web Developer Toolbar
Mouse Gestures
