With Renguard causing so many login problems and then game crashes I think that (as the title of this thread suggests) that the once glorious game of Renegade is almost unplayable.
For someone who used to play every day this is sad.

Dude, I have no problems whatsoever. I play the game all the time.

I always get that "Unauthorized Renegade Instance" when starting the game but I live with it happily; I really enjoy it when RenGuard does that...puts a joyful tear to my eye. Sarcasm

Just play without RenGuard? For the times I have used RenGuard it hasn't given me any problems except the odd lan exploit but thats easily fixed.

LOL, Goztow! I was only joking with that guy! I have been using the fix you gave a couple of weeks back...I never have this problem anymore. For me, that was the last issue with RenGuard and RG never gives me any more problems whatsoever.

That is not a proper solution.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Same prob with the instance termination. I have to click Multi-player practice then exit before gong to advanced listings (that is if ren didn't quit because of the Unauthorized termination). If i continue it cancels me out just as i join a game on advanced, after the login and pkg scan pause.

Who doesn't laugh at renguard. Lan exploit, bla bla Its been logged (omg i going to banned(!)). The latest release needs some bug-fixing.
