FDS Not Showing In GameSpy Or WOL [message #281587]

Dear Renegade Forum People,
I got the FDS yesturday thinking it would be easy. all i did was follow instructions on download, enter name i want, mode i picked GSA, speed of outbound stuff. then i went it change ALL the modes to GameSpy and put the ports and settings to the default. then went into ,y router settings and port forwarded those defaults. double clicked the Master Server.exe and it loaded good and stuff. "100 % Loaded, GSA Mode Active since etc. But i cant find it on GSA or WOL. Please Help me

It wont be listed on WOL in GSA mode, and from what I remember you cannot see gamespy servers if they are running on the same IP as you are.

Try asking someone else to check if they can see your server on GSA.

same ip or pc? can i just send someone my Renegade FDS folder and have them edit it?

can i seriously just give someone a link of my file on rapid share and have them edit it and stuff to make it work? then give it back? please... that would be so much eaiser.
