I want to apologize sincerely for the unacceptable levels of downtime during the last week or so. I have already disabled backups and started just running one or two manually during the day, but we have still had my Apache Web server software stop running correctly a few times anyway.

What makes it difficult for me to spend any significant amount of time on this problem is that I have 6 members of the n00bstories community here at my house until Thursday morning and we have been having a really great and fun-filled time. Very Happy

I'm going to find a few minutes today to look at my scripts and see if there's something I can tweak to make sure the web server keeps running.

I'm just going to lock this thread, though, because I don't really need it discussed. It's not a lack of knowledge of how to fix/deal with the problem, it's just a lack of time.

I'm the bawss.

A.K.A.

Everyone was drunk out of their mind, and [insert person you want to insult here] tripped over the cord.
