Hi Folks. After a long hiatus, KIRBY098 has continued work on his story Fury of the Messiah. For those of you who don't know, Fury of the Messiah is a fan made story inside the C&C Universe.

The irony in this all:

I predicted 60 percent the plot (Philadelphia destruc, GDI and Nod teaming up to defeat the scrin, the zones of ruination, motherships with fighter support) of c&c3 BEFORE it was even said to be a glint in the eye of louis castle et al.

Do I get royalties? Or a job?

Cmon Louis. HIRE ME.

I started Scorpion's tale years ago, and Fury was started in mid 05 when I used to work at the insurance co. I had to stop for a while to get life sorted, and I now have time to write again.

Scorpion's tale was written as a hobby I tackled on my lunch breaks each day.

Turns out people enjoyed the writing style and it took off.

Glad you like them. I have struggled more with Fury, but have now got some ideas and the title of the story will make more sense shortly... Promise.

It won't be getting formally published. It is a hobby project for the enjoyment of fans of command and conquer.

With such wide distribution and no controls over its release no publisher would touch it.

That, and it would infringe on EA's IP if I released for profit.

Fan fiction is entirely legal though.

The only thing I ever hoped to get out of this project was a little recognition and possibly a job offer, but that has never, and will never happen.

Heh, that's what I mean by the community that supported you. You'd need EA's support if you were to ever to publish it.

Oops...
And I realize now that in my editing I cut out part of what I was intending to say.... my statement should have said share part of the profit with the community. Now it should make sense.
