i have a windows xp compaq
amd athlon 64 bit +3200 proccsor
nivida gforce fx 5200 vidoe card
i have trhe lastest direct x



and my renegade AND rengaurd is always messing up i know how to set it up really im not no noob but i whould be in menu get a password worng then redo iot no servers show ill load up rengaurd it load but sya i dont have it it somehow the games minimizes it turns up and shows jsut rengaurd and the rengaurd will jsut shut out of no where and i have low fps (never had it before) i have unistalled the game over 10 tiimes redid my entire pc and nothing also things wohuld jsut stop,errore messages,crashes,shut off,freeze and everything think that could happen does happen any one tell me why??

- There's something like punctuation which will help us understand the problem easier.
- Make a seperate point (like i'm doing) for each problem, document it with screenshots.
- Your video card is pretty old, which may explain the FPS-problems.
- About renguard: did you already check http://www.renegadecommunity.com/page.php?link=rgfaq ? I'm not saying it contains all answers but it does contain quite a few. If you provide more details about your errors, we'll be able to guide you through easier anyway.

Sounds like my computers specs.

Get a new viceo card, i have, and ive had no FPS problems since.

The Cool'N'Quiet feature in AMD CPUs underclocks it when it's not in use. I never knew AthlonXPs had that feature.

ok Renegade- game crashes returns to desktop, Does not always start, sometimes does not install right, etc...

Renguard- Auto update thing for core patches does not work well, does not always connect, shuts down from time to time, etc...
and i have a Athlon 64 and it works pretty good
