been around the community for about 4 years now, even though only today i created an account on these forums. im sure quite a few of you have run into me b4 on some servers... anyways, would just like to say that im a fairly mannered guy and dont really flame any1 unless i got a good enough reason to.
and today the leader of the great UN clan has given me a good one.
please take your time and see for yourselves what hapenned and how much of a controlling freak this person is.
i mean for years i have been part of that forum, and every day i see some poor sod getting put on their famous BOS list, and hunted down and banned like scum... now dont get me wrong cheaters have to be dealt that way and i completely agree with that, but some1 who speaks their mind or swears once in their server or forums gets the same backhand i guess.... well anyways here is this one topic over which i got banned. just take a look at howm "fair" this community really is.

UN has a history of having mods on power trips. I'd stay as far away from any of their servers as possible. I haven't played a single game on their server in well over a year.
Edit: There are a few exceptions (like Wyld1USA)

Wait, why were you banned? I don't get it, it just sounds like you were talking about a mere sports rivalry... If someone talked about Michigan that way, I wouldn't ban them. Am I missing something?

well thats really what i was trying to point out, i dont really get what i was banned for, and im never going to try and find out. like some one already stated except a select few from their clan, there is really nobody i want to be in contact with. i havent played on their servers in over a year aswell. actually i have really only played on noobstories and noobless for the last 2 years and a lil bit on renzor.
edit: im confused how come when i post from home, its says im in canada. but when i post from work it says im from US? i dont work in us and live in canada lol.

yeah i just realized that, the company i work for is based in us, so their server and isp are all from us. thats funny in that case i guess when i post from home i will be in canada and when i post from work i will be in us, even though i work less than 10 miles away from home

I don't like Alkaline, so I don't play on the UNRULES servers. However, my non-server related dealings with them have been great. We played a community match against them and won 3-2, good times had by all. Also tthom has generously donated to BHS more than once which has been an excellent help.
I'm the bawss.

yes i know, about that. my main problem is that i swear and i didnt want to get kicked from their servers for it all the time. also i know tthom is a generous donator and has supported your projects in bhs. which is good for all of us, however lets just say i wont be friends with them anytime soon. the way they treat people is absurd, their iron fist rule when it comes to swearing is retarded, and i wont even start on how good of people they are and i always say its their server so let them do whatever they want with it. plus n00bstories servers are all good if you ask me, no complains there so why would i go to un... especially now i see no point once or ever.
hey crimson since you are incharge mind telling me your clearscope policy plz...

You state that you like swearing, why?
If you knew that a server has a no-swearing policy then why rock the boat?
What you could have done was come on Team-Speak. I must be the biggest swearer in there and no-one bothers me at all. We just dont do it in-game as its a rule.
Im sure that you will abide by the rules of N00bstories therefore UNrules is no different.
"They rule with an Iron Fist" was your quote. Let them, but just abide by the rules.
Before everyone starts to slag off UN!! I play there 99% of my time and have never had any major problems. Sometimes its easier to use IRC and TS to "get to know the Admin".
Admin in any server are only trying their best to create a server they way they want it, as opposed to the way that players want it. They pay for that privelage. Perhaps we should all try and respect any rules of Admin staff on any individual server that we play on.

puddle, i didnt get banned from their servers, atleast not yet. i dont even know why the fuck i was banned in the first place. just read the scum thread in the dang un section, tthom told me to smarten up over some stupid comment i made as a joke, so i posted saying i dont mean to offend any1, then he writes goodbye romaner and bans me. whatever man, fuck it. no point wasting my time on it. i just wanted to let some see this bs and form their own opinion. also who says im leaving for good? i never played or will play on their servers but im around as much as ever, unless you are on their forums only then i guess its goodbye.

To the best of my knowledge, the rule we have agreed on is that clearscope is bad, but if you want to remove the green part and still have the black around it, that's OK.
We rule with an iron fist, too. We don't put up with bullshit from any player. We do, however, allow swearing. My policy on bad attitudes from players is just to watch how many people are clicking Start over and over, trying to get into the game. My moderators and I don't need to put up with bad attitudes to keep a full server.
