If you're really hard core, you can set up an SSH tunnel through your home computer and use Putty as a proxy. Razz

Not if you have a 512k connection Sad too slow. At least for me.

school's block websites for security. most kids decide to go on website (such as this, but not this website) with trojans and such forth, so the school will put blocks on websites with porn (ofcourse), games, personal webpages, and a lot more, just not too sure of what they are.

so a few people in my school will make things called proxys, i am not sure of how they work, but you will get an address bar on a website (kind of like the regular address bar on IE, or Mozilla). you type in the web address in the address bar and bingo it usually works.

www.unblockedproxy2.tk

i have no idea if those will work, seeing the school board caught on to us, and decided to block it. but other than that, if you would like to learn how to make these proxys, look it up on google to figure it out.

Yes, the majority of this forum knows what proxies are. If you don't: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_server

So you registered to post about something you have no clue about? That's fucking retarded.

Well, if you read the thread, you would have noticed that most people have been talking about proxies and have mentioned more than plenty proxy sites. I mean, it's one thing to register and post asking about proxies, but to post about proxies, admit you don't know, and then tell me that you don't give a damn about what they are? Tell me how that's not fucking retarded, and I'll take the pinky "out".

all i did was read the topic title and the first post, meaning to help the person. sorry if i get you mad by helping others.

the main point of this post was to tell him a few sites that might work so he could use them in school, and how to use it incase he needed to know how. yet again, i did not read any other post but his. also i didn't just register here to help someone. you're making false accusations, i joined becuase i play renegade, i like to play renegade, and at that i need help with renguard. helping someone on the side was completley optional and really i didn't plan on doing so.
