ok this morning my new GF4 Ti 4200 128MB AGP8x came Very Happy

now i have installed it correctly it works now this is the problem
i can play EVRYOTHER GAME at max details high reso with no vid lag whatsoever Smile

now i play renegade i get shity 20 FPS WTF!!!
it ocasionally stays at 50 maybe 60 if i am lucky but it goes lower than what my bloody GF2 mx400 did! and that was on a 20 player server now imagine a 36 player...i used my GF2 on that and i got 30 FPS..i dont even wanna think about what i will get with this card Sad

anyone can help me?

i noticed the GFX in renny is alot better with the blood spatter and effects Smile

renny is run in 800x600 32-Bit colour
high details (everything i ran with me GF2)
monitor refresh rate is 75

What version of the Detonators are you using? The last decent set was 41.09.

Don't use the hacked up version of drivers from the manufacturer either, get the reference drivers from the Nvidia site.

There was a time when people were impressed that I have the firepower to decimate a planet in under 10 minutes.

im usin 4.1.0.9
latest from the site

i been playing renny and on 10 player games i get perfect 60 FPS

20 players = 40

36 players =10-50

its strange how it is as low as me GF2
but it keeps the picture looking fine...i think im just gonna have to live with it
