For those of you who don't get it, tilt your head 90 degrees and cross your eyes until both spheres meet. it'll clearly look like it's outside of the box.

Ugh.. it wasn't the ball I couldn't figure out, it was what the box was (saw the thread after icedog posted the answer).

I saw the red "border" to the picture, followed by the ball inside of a die-like structure made up of almost round sides.

But now I see the cube, and yes.. it was on the outside.
