Just got a system with AMD Athlon 62 X2 and Windows XP Pro X64 on it. It has Duo NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT (driver v.9.1.3.6) and NVIDIA nForce Network adapter (driver v.55.2.1.0).

The installation of RenGuard_Setup_1.03.exe looked OK. But there was no renguard running after I started renegade. In fact, I had to use game2.exe under the installation folder to start renegade, otherwise the graphic was a mass. Is it because the X64 OS? Help please. Thanks.

That's because RenGuard currently does not work on Windows XP X64. They plan to make a 64-bit version of RenGuard though.

Thanks for the information! I hope the 64bit version would be out soon.

Meanwhile, to avoid being kicked every 5 mins, I'm thinking of install another OS, Windows Vista RC1 32bit, just to play renegade. Does anybody know if the current version renguard would be working on Windows Vista RC1 32bit?

I highly doubt it. Though it doesn't hurt to try.

Renardin had renguard running on Vista RC1 before, just make sure you stick with the 32 bit version of it Smile

Tried it on Vista RC1 and failed. Will have to contact Renardin for tips.
