Well, I used to have this old login. I knew the password + nick. So theres no way I could of put it wrong (as i saved the correct server.ini). Then my mate did something and now the nick wont work. Is there a way he could of changed the password?
I recently seen him using the nickname too.

If he had the serial he could have changed it. You could try changing it back by opening CnC logging in with an Invalid password than going to chat and typing "reset password" That if your using the same serial you registered with Razz If not paste other encrypted serials you have into your registry to try to find it Smile

No, if you go into chat with the WRONG password and type "reset passwords" it will send you a PM with the new random passwords for all the nicks that belong to that serial.

Lol why would typing "reset passowrds" deleat them? You have to go to Strike-team to deleat a password Huh

And you cannot re-register a deleated nick*, you would have to ask an Xwis admin to undeleat it.

So I go into the Renegade chat. Then type "reset passwords".
This will have a page be sent to me with all the passwords registered to the current serial?

I just logged in with a wrong password as you said. Then I typed "reset password". Then it gives me the password. When I put that into my FDS. It wouldnt load. I did this same processes on a new nick I just registered.... And when I used the old password it worked. Whats wrong?

I did get it. Then when i used it, It wouldnt work. I tired with CAPS and without. Then tired the original password and that worked.

Than the nick your looking for must not be on that serial, if it was in the list than it had to be changed Razz

Ghost, Can you log in with the nicknames meaning with your client? If so then I would think either your FDS serial is invalid or its being used already (I think it can be used 5x at once i'm not to sure).

Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 are on different servers and databases, so that won't work.
