Does renegade support chinese/japenese/korean?
If so, how do the edit boxes (where you type stuff in) work?

actually, i don't know much about japanese input, but i had that japanese ime something installed (don't ask me why and how it got in)

Thanks, thats exactly what I wanted to see. That box with the scroll bar that lets you pick the chinese characters must be the mysterious IMECandidateCtrl (all I know is its name and nothing else)

Can someone with the japanese/korean/chinese renegade open regedit and post the values of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood\Renegade\SKU and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood\Renegade\Language?
I am trying to make my renegade think its chinese/japenese/korean so I can test some crap.

Found a copy of chinese renegade XD
And it was...erm, Joystick + Anime + Renegade? Nice...not.
So i did the usual manual reading and noticed that they messed up the weapons area much...anyways, here's the registry stuff (still not patched, too lazy):
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Westwood\Renegade]
"Name"="叛國者"
"Language"=dword:00000010
"SKU"=dword:00000c0a
"Version"=dword:00010002
EDIT: o_O Why are there X**_midtro stuff in the data folder? didn't knew that they existed...must be me forgetting stuff again, lol
EDIT 2: Erm, subtitle.ini? Saw one of those in RA2 chinese, also, btw, the scorpion's hunter displayed all of the dialogues including GDI's unrelated chatting, i'll maybe check it out tomorrow...i have to sleep, AM 0300 now

lol, never saw that, it's japanese btw, i actually can read some of the kanji stuff, it's either me, but i saw havoc's name as "Destroy House" or something, must be me, but well, at least their's is better, since there isn't any advertisement about C&C! (not to mention, dubs for the cutscenes, all we got are subtitles), and oh yeah, that GDI soldier got pwnt.
