I have no HUD or crosshair when playing renegade [message #215027]

I just installed a Config program for renegade to make the graffics better, and it works awsome, except when Im in the game all the menus and load screens are blank except for the backround. Also while Im playing theres no HUD or crasshair or chat window or anything, I cant even see where my health is or anybody elses. Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling and if I have to do that how do I get this program to work? I also just installed corepatch2 through nengaurd and said the file not found error at the end.

This one was noobstories and these SBH were trying to get me to fallow them but I didnt know cause I cant see the chat, but I got it when they used radio messages.

I just figured out everything works fine if I run Renegade in windowed mode. So my question now is, how do I make it so it'll run normally without windowed mode?
Also when I join it still says I have Core patch 1 at the load screen, even though I installed core patch 2

That's a problem cause by RenD3D9, tries to remove the file D3D8.dll from your renegade directory.
