WOL is gonna be down..so how about everyone play on REOL and populate it...gamespy is crap...move to REOL

i wrote a quick post on how to get REOL and install and use it right Here
so hopefully i will see people in REOL later Very Happy

well im trying hard to get oour friend to host our server in there..but he is busy and has to install BR.net..so maybe the moonlightshakers 32 player will be up later Very Happy

Hey... Some of us use (not to mention like) GameSpy Arcade.


Thats all good, but RenEvo intends to combine all the GSA servers, all the WOL servers and REOL servers into one easy to use interface. That should mean no more waiting for ads to vanish before playing your favourite servers and hopefully more of a choice for players. Still, until this is accomplished or large amounts of people begin to play on REOL maybe better games could still be found on GSA when WOL is down.

i tried to get reol to work but it crashes when i start up renegade, so i tried to uninstall reol. After i did that when i started renegade it said that there was an error in wwconfig.exe Does anyone know how to fix it?

sorry pal, I don't. Did you follow all the instructions when installing REOL properly? It should definetly work if you did. And if your renegade won't run now the best think I suggest is that you reinstall renegade, however:

If you have downloaded any maps, skins, or patches for the game, remove them first and place them on the desktop. Then uninstall and reinstall renegade, and put those files back in the data folder.

Anyway REOL isn't very populated at the mo, I've seen a good few servers there, however the few I did join were pretty laggy, ping of 600 Sad so your not missing much. But it would be great if we could have more players online Smile

Last night i played on REOL, usually there is no one there and i end up having a one on one with who ever shows up. Last night there were plenty of people on. Very Happy

I havent got it yet cause i havent had the time but i think now is a good enough reason to get it as long as i can stay away from gay spy...

I was going to spend this time not playing renegade remaking the level facility for renegade from Goldeneye/perfect dark which i know i posted about ages ago but my brother is giving me his 64 this weekend (he is at uni) so i can finally start it for real !!! Very Happy Very Happy
